“Comfort of Joy – The Art of Creating The Backyard Retreat”

Master Gardener Regina Ripley will present an informative presentation which will arm the average homeowner with design tools to transform their backyard into a tranquil retreat. Basic landscape design tips will be discussed to draw parallels between a destination spa and an equally restful backyard. Many beautiful photos will be used to enrich the presentation and inspire the audience one step stone at a time.
Regina Ripley received her Master Gardener certificate in May 2004, which she maintains by attending CEU classes and volunteering at Mercer Botanical Gardens. She was certified as a Landscape Design Consultant in 2010.
Her home garden has been on two public tours in the past four years and was also featured in the March 2008 “Women’s Day” Magazine and the March 2009 “Neil Sperry Texas Horticulture” Magazine.
Besides volunteering, Regina cares for the perennial garden at the Kingwood Garden Center and several private gardens in the Kingwood area.
