This heat-loving tropical shade plant performs well outdoors in Summer mixed containers, can be used as a bedding plant or groundcover in warm climates, and works well in indoor lifestyle plant programs. An exciting addition to the garden, Maracas shows off attractive variegated foliage plus bicolour purple/pink flowers. Well-suited to 4.5-in./11-cm pots to 1-gallon (8-in./20-cm standard pot) containers, plants are best grown warm in production. PGRs will enhance the silver variegation in the foliage and encourage earlier flowering.
